ATM - Cash not withdraw and debited from Saving Bank?

Dear Sir, This is bring to your kind notice that it was my big surprise that I had try to withdraw R14000/- from  on 30th, 2015 around 10.00 AM, but the money was not actually withdraw and showed bank have deducted a sum of R14000/-, . I therefore request that a sum of R14000/- may please be reverted back to my above Saving Bank A/C  and proper enquiry may be done by bank to stop such thing, as I am in need urgent of fund.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank nor a regulator, which may please be noted.

The withdrawal of amount through ATM could be an act of fraud.  You should approach your base branch with a written complaint regarding the purportedly fraudulent withdrawal from your account with a request for reversal / immediate credit.  If there is no proper and quick response from the branch, you should email the grievance to the senior management of the bank for an immediate resolution.  If the bank management also not responsive to your complaint, please address your grievance to Banking Ombudsman.
