6000 rupees got deducted by bank?

Dear Sir, Recently i transfered some amount to my bank account, immediately Rs:6000-/ was deducted from my account.I was not informed and I didn't get any warning about this.Suddenly 6000 was deducted i'm deeply dissatisfied with this approach. Please refund my money. Transaction details: Transaction Date - Transaction Remark - CR/DRAmount (INR) 01/10/2015 - Dr. 6, 002.85 I hope you will respond soon. Thank You bank Account holder.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist the Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any query / complaint / grievance in respect of financial services.  This site does not belong to any Bank or Regulator, which may please be noted.

Having admitted to transferring the amount, complaining that your account is debited is not correct, Lalita.  When you have mandated the bank to transfer the amount, the bank would effect the transfer by debit to your account only.  Having initiated the transfer, you should not accuse the bank of suddenly deducting the amount without a warning.  I assume that you initiated an online NEFT transfer and the bank has carried out the instructions accordingly, by debit to your account.  If you have not initiated the transfer/neft, you may please approach the base branch for corrective action.
