ATM Withdrawal issue?

I have done a Withdrawal of Rs20000 from an atm in and I got only Rs19600 cash. There was a 100Rs note in the middle of 500Rs notes. Immediately I went to the branch and complained to the manager. But they didn't take any complaint and asked me to go to ATM branch somewhere and didn't even give me a phone number to call and register a complaint. Later i have called bank ATM care toll free number and registered the complaint regarding the same. After few days even they closed the complaint saying it is a successful transaction. I didn't even get the receipt from ATM for that transaction but 20000Rs deducted from my account. Please consider my complaint and let me know what needs to be done to get it resolved.

Hi Disekar,

If this transaction has been done within the last 3 months, you can demand to see the CCTV footage. Since the branch has not responded to you properly, please follow the below steps :-

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online furnishing the details.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
