I am 82 years old man and handicapped. I am getting my pension from bank Urdu Bazar Branch, IFSC Code  Gorakhpur Uttar Pradesh, I applied for new cheque book in month of july-15, new cheque book issued on     07-08-2015 according to bank, but till now i have not received my cheque book. When i ask in branch they always say me to go to post office and when i go to post office they say that they have not received any cheque book. I am 82 years old and handicapped its very difficult for me to go everyday to bank or post office . Please help me in this matter.

Dear Shri.Ashutosh Shukla ji,

Your is a fit case for lodging  a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman. As there is no indication in your complaint about your location/your bank branch location to guide you on the jurisdiction of the Banking Ombudsman, I request you to access the website http://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/ to know details of the Banking Ombudsman Scheme and to ascertain the address of the BO with whom you may lodge your  complaint.

A simple email or a letter to the BO concerned narrating your experiences would result in resolution of your complaint  within the shortest possible time.
