i used atm card to withdraw rs 10000/- at bank atm vasanthnagar Bangalore on 11/9/2015 time 14;41 i had entry the 10000/-amount atm machine to say your transaction is process then again immediately your transaction is cancelled but amount is not came only receipt slip is generated then i saw the slip youravailable balance 10252 But amount didn't came and 10000rs deducted in my account then i go to nearest  bank i told the problem they are said wait for 1 day automatically it will credit your account if not credit in your account register your complaint your home branch but next day is second Saturday bank was closed then i told the problem but manager also said wait for one day and he gave help line number but they are not pick the calls sir please sir i what paid the fees at pgcet cell that's why sir please please credit the money

Dear Madhu

If your account is debited with Rs.10000/- without the money being dispensed by the ATM, please immediately give a written complaint in your home branch under proper acknowledgement.  The CCTV footage is generally available for a minimum period of 90 days, as per RBI guidelines.  Hence, you can also ask for the CCTV footage for the particular transaction.  In case the response from the home branch is not proper and to your satisfaction, you should complain to Bank's senior management and in a worst case scenario, even to Banking Ombudsman.  The process to be adopted is as follows.

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
