Dhirendra kumar singh  i made two transaction of rs 1500 not got the amount of first at 12:08 pm.Got the second transaction amount from the same atm . Comlain the same on banks toll free.  by sakib and 1510011397 by niyamat against refund of amount rs 1500 still not received from bank 17/10/15 enquired for same on bank toll free ashika told as per statement a/c staled but still i have not received the same

Mr Dhirendra,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any query / complaint / grievance in respect of financial services.  This site does not belong to any Bank or a Regulator, which may please be noted. 

Normally, refund of the amount not dispensed by the ATM comes to your account on the next working day when Bank/service provider replenishes cash in the ATM. At the same time, cash in the ATM is also reconciled and excess cash found, if any, is reported based on which your account is credited. Since the transaction has happened on Saturday, you might get refund on Monday otherwise you may write to the branch seeking refund of the amount not dispensed by the ATM. You may also escalate the matter to the nodal officer - grievances whose coordinates (contact) would be available on the Bank's website. As a last resort, you have the option of approaching Banking Ombudsman/Consumer forum for redress all of your grievance.
