Hi, I am Sonam Rathi, from my bank account 2 times money is debited on 17th october 2015.The code is POSDEC CHG/18-09-15/9003/25ST3. Please take immediate action on this as I have not swiped my debit card anywhere so how the account got deducted. Also please retrieve the amount back to my account.Thanks and please revert back quickly.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any query / complaint / grievance in respect of financial services.  This site does not belong to any Bank or a Regulator, which may please be noted.

As regards swipe transaction in your account, please escalate the matter to the nodal officer - grievances whose coordinates ( contact) would be available on the Bank's website. If you do not get satisfactory response from nodal officer within a reasonable period neither refund of the unauthorised debit amount, you may approach Banking Ombudsman/ Consumer Forum for resolution of the issue.

As a matter of abundant precaution, please ensure that debit/credit card is swiped on the machine in your presence only otherwise there is a possibility of capturing card information from the magnetic strip on the back of the card. Also do not divulge your debit/credit card PIN to anyone for swiping the card.
