Complain regarding unreasonable deduction of Charges by Bank?

Dear sir myself Ghanshyam Saharia went Yesterday in Bank Shadipur Branch for depositing Cash (My A/c is in Kirti Nagar Branch) neither Cashier told me about Charges nor there was mentioned on Deposit Challan and after deduction of Charges (Rs. 25) he told me about it. I asked him why you didn't tell me about Charges, He returned me my Money without Depositing it but When i Checked my Balance then Charges was Deducted. So why they Deduct my Balance without Depositing money. It is Unfair Transaction of Bank So provide me my balance.

    Hi Ghanshyam,

    If The Bank has not deposited the amount in the account, it can not deduct the charges. Since the branch is not responding you, please follow the below steps :-

    1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online furnishing the details.

    2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

    3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

    4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
