Hi, I am having a salary bank account in kamarajar Madurai branch.My account no. is xxxxxxxx5612 : I was just checking my bank statement and got the shock of my life. My account has been debited. I don't have any mail informing about this charges. I have no information from. No call, no mail and no msg. I dont know why they are deduct my account, i informed to customer, they are not response to me, without any information they are deduct my account, kindly help me sir, i am a middle class family.kindly solve my problem sir

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any query / complaint / grievance in respect of financial services.  This site does not belong to any Bank or a Regulator, which may please be noted.

As regards levy of charges in your salary account, I presume salary credit in that account has not stopped for three consecutive months. If that is the case, your account will be converted to a normal savings account with AMB/AQB requirement, under intimation to you. If your salary is getting credited regularly, please check the terms of offer of the salary accounts with your employer. If you are not satisfied with the levy of charges, you may escalate the issue to Nodal Officer- grievances whose coordinates (contact) are available on the Bank's website. If you do not get satisfactory response from nodal officer within a reasonable period or your charges are not reversed, you may approach Banking Ombudsman for resolution of the issue.
