I am writing here regarding miss behaviour of bank credit card payment collection team . I am being continuously tortured from last 5 Months and today the limits are crossed. The caller was a lady insulted me by calling me at my office landline and telling things like .. 1. Company Salary Nahi Deti He kya appko 2. You do fake commitments 3. Should I Call your Boss 4. Should I Call your HR and ask them why the payment is not getting done She even was not ready to put down phone and telling send some one to bank Branch and do the payment any how . When i lost my temper then she stopped the nonsense. I have received call on my company's contact number . I am not sure about the contact number from where the call came but it can be one of this as i am getting calls . The collection team have also told me many things previously as will do a legal action, I will get de rated on CIBIL ratings, I can never get credit card etc etc . FROM LAST 6 MONTHS I AM REQUESTING BANK TO GIVE ME MY CREDIT CARD NUMBER IN WRITTEN BUT NO ONE IS GIVING THE SAME . COLLECTION PEOPLE ARE PROVIDING ME CARD NUMBER ON SMS BUT NOT ON MAILS . I HAVE WRITTEN THE ISSUE AS WELL TO MANY TIMES BUT HAVENT GOT ANY SATISFACTORY REVERT. I have just missed my commitment of payment which i have to do on 10th November and a lady calls and insult me like any thing. I was even ready to pay all late fees and interest but i just wanted to have my CREDIT CARD NUMBER IN WRITTEN . As i have a very bad experience with bank in past as well, I have made the payment to wrong account number and bank have taken more then 3 months to solve the issue and at that time also i have paid all late fees and interest . I have told this story to bank collection team many but nobody from bank have helped me, on the negative side i have been continuously tortured . Now bank have to answer me that why I must pay of Late Fee and Interest if they are not capable enough to help me ? Are your employees are only trained to torture ? Is there any process in bank o help customer ?

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

I am not able to understand your contention, rather confused at your varying statements.  On one hand, you admit that you are required to pay late fee and interest along with the card dues and on the other hand, you are asking the agents / bank to give your credit card number in mail, while not accepting their SMS.  You are the owner of the credit card and used it.  You should be knowing the number.  The credit card is held by you.  Assuming it is lost, you must be having the card statements, both physical and estatements.  Very unusual grievance.  Besides, you can walk into your home branch / any nearby branch at any point in time and seek details of card.  If you are enjoying Internet Banking, you can view the same.  

If you have the will, dear Aakash, it is not difficult for you to get the card number, which you have been using for credit.  Please do not delay the bill any further and ensure quick payment to get saved from the late fee charges and high interest.
