Harassment from bank agent?

Dear Sir, From last 2 days me and my wife receiving a call from bank agent rohini branch . I ask him to give me a call on monday to settle the payment of my wife credit card issues. He called me and my wife today n number of time and using the abusing language to pay the payment and trying to call my relatives and friends to harass us . If bank using this way out taking out the money from there customer then no body would like to pay the money in gunda raj . We are a service class people and i am also using 5 banks credit card there is no issues because they support us in a polite manner . Sir i am ready to pay the amount but not like this . i request to take immediate action against agent ankit in rohini branch  Thanks & Regards DEEPAK & LAVANYA BATRA

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

It is a matter of industry practice that the Banks entrust the recovery of overdue payments from the card holders to an agency, whose job is to ensure recovery by hook or crook.  Besides the harassment, the card holders would end up paying huge amount towards late payment charges and high rate of interest, if the bills are not paid in time.  You must be well aware of the same, since you are holding quite a number of credit cards from various banks.  Please get in touch with the credit team of the card issuing bank, seeking time for the payment due to them.  Please do not delay the credit card payments, which might become quite serious.
