Credit Card I have again & again opted for Printed CC statement so that my company can pay the bill in time, because e-mail is not accessible by my company. 4. But, the Bank does not deliver the printed bills, rather charges me exorbitant interest, late fee, finance charges etc. This is highly unacceptable because even after repeated request for printed bills, we do not get them. 5. When we call the Bank's helpline for refund/waiver of late charges, they don't entertain such requests even when it was the Bank's fault. 6. I want refund of all late payment charges, interest charges, service tax, finance charges beginning from date of issue of my credit card along with damages. 7. This is highly unprofessional on part of the bank. Please help.

Dear Isha

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

There seems to be some incoherence in what you stated.  i) It sounds a bit weird, when you say that your company can not access the email statement.  ii) Assuming there could be some security restriction, you can access the email, take a printout and hand it over to company for payment. iii) Any bank would certainly send the physical statement, if demanded and in fact, they are under obligation.  iv)  Your only reason for non-payment of the credit card bills is that non-receipt of printed CC statements.  Notwithstanding the above, if what has been stated by you is true and can be substantiated, you may complain to the Bank's management / banking ombudsman to waive off the late payment charges and interest.  The process is given here under.

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
