Bank - Sunil dp charges?

I have a Savings account in  bank for 10 years now. When I checked my bank transactions and I found that there is one debit transaction INR 490.20'.When I created the Demat account, I was not told about the DP charges, it was told me by the representative that it is free of cost and it will never be charged and also I did not get any message alert in my mobile which is registered with mobile banking My account number is completely unacceptable and please refund my amount.

The opening of the Demat account is free but after lapse of a year, every bank would levy annual maintenance charges.  If you have not been told about the same and never used the Demat account for any transactions, do given a written request to your home branch for reversal of the charges and closure of the account.  If your branch is not responding positively, you may choose to complain to the bank's higher management.  You may visit the website of the bank and post your complaint to their nodal / grievance redressal officer.
