Dear sir I am a salary account holder of your bank and i was use a credit card my wings from last 6 months or above i have purchased a cell phone from flipkart amount of 14999 and converted into 3 EMI though the merchant in that time few days after i faced some software problem in my cellphone so i return that one to flipkart and they get back my amount in my credit card but still bank taken that EMI from last 2 month.When i raised my issues against the same the customer care executive always made me fool and also i am written mail as same to credit cards department they also do not cleared my issues in that case what could i do or still i am paying such amount to bank. At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

For initial purchase transaction, you made online payment and opted for 3 EMI.  Thereafter, you returned the mobile to Flipkart and got the credit into your card account.  Thus, it was a separate transaction, wherein your card account would show credit of money refunded by the merchant.  However, your dues of initial purchase cost, converted into EMIs would continue to be there and bank would recover them on due dates.  Any refund is not set off with future EMIs.  If you want that to be set off, then take it up with the credit card team of the Bank.  Their details would be available on bank's website.  You can also copy your mail to Nodal Officer of the Bank, besides the credit card officials.
