Blocking of 3d secure pin?

Hi, .my 3D Secure Pin for Online Purchasing is Blocked, And message is showing To Unblock your card/login, please contact Bank Customer Care. I called to customer care for this but a pre recorded tape is running there asking for credit card number.after typing 16 digit number again and again they are reapiting the same. I am not getting how to unblock my card for online trasnaction? PLEASE HELp

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

I have a hunch that probably you are not following the IVR instructions for auto generation of a new PIN.  Generally, after inputting the credit card 16 digit number, the system would also ask to input VBV /or/ your 4 digit PIN number and in certain cases, date of birth in DDMM form is required.  Try again and check it out.  Else, walk into a nearby branch of your bank and seek their assistance.  If nothing works, then you may also handover a written request for a new PIN to the branch.
