Wrong late payment charges on credit card?

Hi, I am a coral credit card holder with your bank.The payment due date for my credit card is 10th of every month. For the month of nov 2015, I made the required payment of Rs 6, 498.00 on 10 nov 2015. Despite making the payment on the right time, I have been charged late payment fees and other charges. PFA the proof for on-time payment of my credit card bill. I had contacted the concerned team of  bank several time but they constantly replied me with same answer "As per bank Policy we are unable to reverse the charges." Then I escalated the issue to Mr. Krishnan Govindan, Head Customer Service, but didn't got any response from his side also.Finally I had to come on this forum for the resolution of my complaint. Please have a look and take the necessary steps for reversal of the wrong charges levied on me. Regards, Amanpreet Singh

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

If your credit card account statement depicts your payment as received on 10th, which is supposedly the due date, the bank is just not in order in levying late fee and interest.  You should be complaining to the bank in writing for reversal of the relative charges.  If positive response is no forthcoming, you may complain to the senior management of the bank, whose contact details would be available on their website.  You should be addressing your complaint to their Nodal / Grievance Redressal Officer.  If the senior management also fails to respond, you may approach Banking Ombudsman.
