I purchased a flight ticket using bank credit card. Transaction was successful but ticket got cancelled by the vendor. I have a mail saying they have returned the money to the bank which the bank has refused to pay me. Simply bank has stolen my money.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Slightly intriguing, since you stated that the ticket was cancelled by the vendor.  How can a vendor cancel a ticket on his own?  There should be a request from the passenger for cancellation.  Assuming that you got a confirmation from the airlines regarding the refund, the amount would get credited to your Credit Card and not to your savings account.  The credit would reflect in your card statement and in the next bill.  Please do not blame the Bank, without verifying the facts.  Do await for your credit card statement, check whether credit is given and if not, then take it up with Bank.
