Transfer of saving bank account?

I have submitted application to transfer the saving account from NOIDA SECTOR 48 branch to VISHNUPURI KANPUR account number of times and its been very painful to go to NOIDA again and again for submitting the same application again and again. Branch Manager NOIDA Sector 48 managed to transfer the CIF number to respective branch in kanpur but account number is still with them. Please suggest what can be done to get my account transfer in kanpur

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

For getting an account transferred from one branch of the bank to another one, you need not visit the home branch, more than once.  In view of core banking era, even that is not required and you can handover a request at one of the nearby branches.  The bank branches seem to be unnecessarily harassing you.  Please bring the matter to the notice of the senior management of the bank through an email complaint.  The details of the Nodal Officer of the bank would be available on their website.  I hope, a mail to the bank seniors would ensure to get your account transferred on priority.
