I ordered a mobile from amazon and did payment online by debit card but my order got cancelled due to declination of my payment. Until now i didn't get my money back. Date of transaction - 14 dec 2015 money- rs 12399

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Firstly, you need to find out from Amazon, whether they refunded the amount of cancelled order to the bank. Unless the amount is returned to the Bank by the vendor, they would not credit your account.  Besides, if the online payment was through your credit card, the refund would also get into your card account only.  If Amazon confirms and furnishes you the details of refund, take it up with your bank accordingly.  If neither of them are responding, you may complain to the Nodal Officer of the bank (contact/email details would be available on their website) and with consumer forum against Amazon.  However, your future course of action should be based on facts.
