Not accepting card online as well as at shopping centres?

Sir, I am shailendra Gupta from lucknow. I have an gift card of your bank and it is corporate gift card which i get from my company as a gift but it is not accepting online and as well as at shopping centres. I can see the amount which is in the card by using atm machine by entering password but i can't widrawl amount and or use by any other way. So sir please suggest me what can i do. Thank you.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

You would not be able to withdraw cash from a Gift Card.  However, you can certainly make online / swipe purchases.  I doubt, whether the card has been activated.  Please get in touch with the bank, which has issued the gift card, to get the card activated and if there is any technical glitch, to rectify the same.  You can also bring the problem to the notice of your management / employer, so that they too can take up the issue with the bank, since you colleagues may also be facing the same problem.
