Not providing me cheque book and ATM card?

Sir, I have applied for cheque book and ATM Card on 29/12/15 at my home branch i.e. Hailakandi, Assam. As my ATM Card has lost and I blocked it on 25/12/15 vide My entire money is at my this account. So for not providing ATM Card and cheque book I am suffering tremendously. I have repeatedly approached to my home branch but they did not give any positive solution. Therefore, my humble request you that kindly do the needful so that I can get cheque book and ATM Card without any delay.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Your bank / home branch can not refuse to issue a new ATM card and cheque book.  At the most, the bank would levy charges for the issuance.  Please get in touch with your branch manager / relationship officer and handover a written request under acknowledgement.  If they are not responding within a week or so, do complain to the management of the bank, whose Nodal Officer's details would be available on their website.  In case you do not get desired response, please do not hesitate to write to BO. For address of the Office of the Banking Ombudsman, Area of Operation (jurisdiction) and the procedure for lodging complaint, you may access the website https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/.
