Fraud by debit card?

Dear Sir, This is to bring to your knowledge the ATM cash withdrawal fraud which has happened with me on midnight of 18th &19th Jan 2016. Someone has withdrawn INR 100000 from my bank savings account  This transaction was done without my knowledge or consent and that time my debit card was in my custody, So there was no possibility for anybody mis-using my card. it was a fraud. This transaction was done in 8 attempts, INR 17500 (4 times) and INR 7500 (4 times). I immediately called customer service and blocked my card. I have already informed to Customer care & Branch Ghaziabad & local police station. but still not get positive responses by bank As this is a technical security breach and negligence of bank due to which such fraud happened. Dear Mudit Kumar,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

It appears to be case of skimming fraud. Your bank is bound to investigate the matter, On being satisfied that you were not negligent and  neither were you involved in the fraud directly of indirectly, the bank would restore the funds to your account. Please follow with the bank providing a copy of the police complaint lodged by you. 

If the bank fails to restore the funds within 30 days of your complaint, you should take up the matter with  the Banking Ombudsman for resolution. While writing to the BO, please provide complete details and also enclose the communications exchanged with the bank including copy of the FIR
