redit card is charging too much and not cancelling the card?

I want to cancel my credit card from long time, there is extra charges with this card, after paying the bill there is an extra fee that got me upto 7000 i haven't used it than after there is bill of this credit card my card no is i want to cancelled it asap i wanted a settlement but the bank is not ready for settlement and the person whoever is calling asking for payment and speaking very rudely
no respect. u have to pay other wise we cont cancel when i dint use is why should i pay

Hi Temmy,

When you had paid all the outstanding amount, for which you used your Credit card, how an amount of Rs.7,000/- has remained outstanding, which by any standard is high. Please take your latest Credit card statement, go to your branch / nearest branch of your Bank and submit your written application in duplicate (collect the acknowledgement copy and retain with you). If you are not getting proper response, please follow the below steps :-

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online furnishing the details.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman within your jurisdiction (either through letter or email), whose website is https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/
