Not sending the statement regularly?

I have been using your bank credit card for more than 3 years but for the last 4 months i am not receiving my statement but whenever i made a request they are telling it declined. So, I don't know what are the charges they are putting. They are telling that courier is sent, somebody received but they are not ready to send the duplicate statement. Nowadays they are giving headache to customer, and not responding properly.

Hi Sarojini,

The Bank is bound to send "physical statement" or "statement through email" to the customer. In fact, if you are using online banking facility of your Bank, you can also generate your e-statement (for this menu option in online Banking facility, please contact your nearest branch). However, since the bank is not responding to your query, which is just & valid, please follow the below steps :-

 

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online furnishing the details.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman within your jurisdiction (either through letter or email), whose website is https://bankingombudsman.rbi.org.in/
