Receiving messages from bank Star Sandesh?

Hi, 
I have been receiving messages from bank Star Sandesh from quite long time. I don't have any account with your bank But still receiving messages for debit n credit of funds.. Please check and remove my number from your database. These messages are so annoying and it could be possible fraud msgs... Please help...

Hi Girisha,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

The problem being experienced by you could be on account your mobile number remaining tagged to particular account, the holder of which would have surrendered the phone but failed to notify the change of number to his bank. The same number would have been allotted to you by the service provider.

You must be receiving SMS alerts from particular bank. To resolve the problem, please write to the Nodal Officer of the bank narrating the problem. He would sort out and inform you accordingly. Contact details of Nodal Officer can be found on the bank's website.
