Transfer Amount In wrong Account?

By mistake I remitted Rs15000 through NEFT from myone Bank Account
 on 02/07/2015 to my son's expired  Bank
 Till now I have not received refund.
 My bank is not updated about fate of transaction.
 Email from my bank to  NEFT dept is unanswered.
 Please guide me & help me in recovering the amount.

Hi Aniket,

It seems it is an inadvertent mistake on your part. Please submit your application through email immediately to the Customer Service Cell & Credit Card grievance cell of HDFC Bank under copy to Allhabad Bank. If your son's expired credit card is not having any outstanding amount to be paid, you should get back your amount. Since the Credit card belongs to your son, he also should give an email to HDFC bank  (Customer Service Cell & Credit Card grievance cell) calling back the amount. Also advise Allhabad Bank to pursue the matter with HDFC Bank.

If you do not receive any satisfactory reply from HDFC Bank within 7 days, you may lodge a complaint with the Banking Ombudsman.
