Smab charges debited to savings account?

To, Satara road branch., 
In last week on 24.03.2016, my account had been debited for rs.400.75 against showing remark smab chgs feb16+stax50.75. I had recd. Mail regarding minimum balance on 18.02.2016, i had maintained the balance from 19.02.2016 of rs.10, 000/- +, although maintaining the balance account had been debited. Requesting you to reverse these charges and cr. This amount to my savings bank a/c.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

You admit having maintained the balance only from 19/02/2016, which might not have covered the minimum average required for the whole month of February and hence the charges.  Nevertheless, you may approach home branch manager and request for waiver, if that is possible.
