Sir i used to make transaction thru online from long time. may be few time my transaction got decline due to insufficient balance or any other reason. now my card is blocked for internet transaction and i have been asked to visit base branch which is not possible for me as i live in other town now. please help me. i tried to contact customer care but they are not responding properly. my bank details are as follow

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

Since you have the net banking facility, the sufficiency of balance can be very well checked prior to initiating an online payment.  I assume from your mail that even in the absence of adequate balance, you deliberately tried to make online payments and may be for the same reason, the bank might have blocked your net banking facility.  This could be the precise reason for the bank asking you to approach your home branch.  Nevertheless, you may ask the nearby branch of your bank to take a request and forward it to your home branch for doing the needful.  Please explore the possibility.
