Regarding online shopping?

Dear sir/madam, I'm Aparna, i did online shopping of purchasing spa coupons from groupon but unfortunately sum of amount rs.899 got deducted from my account and didn't get the voucher. It was cancelled. so how can I get my money back and to whom shall I consult.I hope you'll help me in getting my money back. Thanks and regards Your faithfully Aparna.

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed and managed by a group of Senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complain/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

I assume that your online payment to groupon was successful.  The amount, which got deducted from you account should have been credited to the beneficiary, who in turn failed to send you the spa coupons. Since the bank has parted with the money in terms of your online instructions, they can not treat the transaction as cancelled and reverse the amount to you.  You should be taking up the issue with the beneficiary (groupon) for refund, since they have not provided you with the vouchers.
