High rate of interest and improper behaviour from bank employee?

I used to carry a credit card of your bank which gave me the worst experience ever faced in life. If you query to bank employee they will redirect you to call customer care and again customer care will redirect to bank. You will just run pillar to post to resolve issue and the same will not get resolved for years together. I suggested to all my friends and family for not to take any service from this worst bank. In specific, I am speaking the worst experience I have received from credit card department, Bhubaneswar Branch, Orissa. They only know to throw their responsibility to other without trying to resolve the issue.

Hi Babita,

At the outset, let me clarify that this site is designed by a group of senior Banking Professionals to assist Bank Customers at large to provide guidance for resolution of any complaint/query/grievance in respect of financial services. This site does not belong to any Bank or a regulator, which may please be noted.

The issue highlighted in your communication apparently is the result of inadequacies in the process followed in your bank and also reflects on lack of sensitivity to address customer issues in appropriate manner. The decision taken by you not to use credit card of the bank, particularly in the context of severe competition to sell credit cards by banks seems appropriate.

As a further step I would suggest you to bring the issue and the actions taken by you to notice of the Nodal Officer of the bank. This may spur the Bank to look into the connected issues seriously and take corrective action  to retain customers. This may result in a win win situation both to customers and the Bank. You will have played a positive role in this which you can feel proud of.
