3 MONTHS BACK I requested them to close my account of credit card and iI am ready to pay my usage.but they didnt, now on the behalf of that they blocked my account and my the lean amount is Rs.-39000 which is unjustified.this is mental harassment for me, i calling customer care but they are not giving me proper solution for this. pls help me into this matter., I can mail you the copy of proff.

Hi Aditya,

Please follow the following steps :-

  1. Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.
  2. If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)
  3. If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)
  4.  If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)

As regards marking a lien on your funds for higher amount than the outstanding on
your credit card, you please escalate the issue to nodal officer - grievances whose
coordinates would be available on the Bank's website. If the issue doesn't get
resolved by the Bank, you may approach RBI/Banking Ombudsman for resolution of the
issue.
