Unblocking of ATM card?

I have an account I have lost my atm/debit card, later i found it. on loosing it i block it by calling to customer care but when i found it i give a written application (1-2 weeks ago) to my branch to unblock the card but no action is taken till now. the worst thing was no one is ready to take the application everyone was saying to apply for new card. reason was no one have a knowledge of the procedure of unblocking the card.

Hi Shikha,

You have not mentioned how you lost the card and from where you got it again. Please note to change your PIN after unblocking of the card. Since the branch is not assisting you in the matter, please follow the below steps :-

1.    Go to your Bank’s website and search for grievance redressal (or similar name) button and submit your complaint online.

2.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

3.    If you do not receive any reply / satisfactory reply within 10 days from the Nodal officer, lodge your complaint with the Principal Nodal officer of the Bank (either through email or letter)

4.     If you are still not satisfied with the reply / do not receive reply from the Principal Nodal officer within 10 days, lodge your complaint with the Banking Ombudsman (either through letter or email)
